My absolute favorites by her are the drunken I Will Always Love You cover in Brazil and her work as the Queen on the Decemberists’ Hazard’s of Love album. She kills.
YES. She’s absolutely one of my favorite singers ever, and I think it’s a real shame that she isn’t recognized by everyone as having one of the most distinctive and beautiful voices of any genre.
